Okay, as sports go, this is something of a vice. I can feel noble about enjoying baseball and hockey. Football is just guilty fun. Curiously, it's the only sport in which I follow the major professional league. Somewhat strange, since I dislike Division I-A college football for being too "professional".
We all know Division I-A Big Time College Football is little more than a minor league for the NFL, but at the Division I-AA, II and III levels, people still remember what it's all about: trounce your rivals and win your conference. If your local newspaper skimps on the real college results, never fear. There's lots of info on the net, and here is a list of some Ivy League and I-AA football resources.
The least eclectic of my sporting tastes. In the past, I wrote up critiques of sites that claimed to be the best on the internet, but these things change pretty frequently, so for now I'll just mention that the USA Today site is traditionally pretty useful. Oh yeah, and the Playoff Possibilities Spreadsheet may appear here someday...
