• Hoover's company information has company profiles.
• Suck's Net Moguls Archive is where I hope to be featured someday. 
  (But surely not for my stock-picking prowess.)
• IFCI Risk Watch "provides an introduction and guide to the most important official documents in the area of financial risk management."  (Fun bedtime reading for Finance majors.) Finance.Wat.ch is another great Euro site.  Both of these have technical financial dictionaries, in various languages.

• DICE (Data Processing Independent Consultant's Exchange) has an enormous database of listings.  To get an idea of the magnitude of the situation, check out their list of recruiting firms participating.
• I got my last (consulting) gig through a posting on the ba.jobs.offered newsgroup.
• Craigs-list has job listings, mostly multimedia and support positions.
• Asia-Net has Japanese/Korean/Chinese bilingual jobs.  (Not for me!)
• Computer Training Network has jobs for trainers/instructors, analysts, tech writers.
• Game Developer job and networking info.
• Drink Exchange, for when you're tired of hacking WWW.
• Teaching English abroad [Berman] has collected lots of info.
• Free Agency list of agencies with searchable databases.
